Week 6 Term 3

Wow another fun and busy week here in Ruru!

In Ruru class we have been working on our letter formation by using 'Lazy Eight' pattern. Here are some of the children waking up their lazy eight to get fluid movement.

This week we looked at 'Math about Me' and made posters.

We had 2 visits this week from performance groups - they were amazing!

First we had Duffy Theatre perform a play for us about the importance of reading.

The Kahurangi Theatre performed waita and told traditional Maori tales - the children were in awe of the performers amazing skills.
